The purpose of the bylaws is to provide guidance regarding leadership and general membership that supports the guild. They are a requirement under the 501(c)(3) umbrella federal tax status that governs our guild business.
Every 5 years, the Board of Directors reviews and updates the Bylaws for the Colorado Springs Quilt Guild. This version was approved and adopted in 2021.

The standing rules may be amended by a majority vote of the members present at a general membership meeting. Details of proposed changes and notice of vote shall be published in the newsletter prior to general membership meeting.
